Afriqiyah Airways starts its flights from Tripoli to Beijing
Afriqiyah Airline, Libya’s most popular airline has started its two way non stop air travel services from Tripoli to Beijing, the capital of Republic of China, as the first move to link both the countries. The inaugural flight was sent on November 2, 2010. Afriqiyah operates twice a week, on Tuesday and Thursdays. Airbus 330 takes off from Tripoli for Beijing at 10:00 while the return flight from Beijing to Tripoli departs at 17:30 on Wednesdays and Fridays. The travel time between the capitals of two countries is 12 hours. Travelers can enjoy the comfort of business class as well as the low costs of the economy class.
The airbuses employed for the flight have extra wide 4-abreast seating that parallels the first class seating plan of premium carriers. Furthermore the aircraft has the capacity to take eight cargo pallets. Beijing is the first destination served by Afriqiyah Airways in the continent of Far East. The non-stop flight will provide convenience to many commercial as well as business flyers at the same time adding a valuable destination to the network of Afriqiyah airways.
