UK Airports News Updates After Snowfall
Due to the severe snow blanket that has covered the whole of UK, many airports are facing disruptions. Specifically the London Gatwick airport has been affected adversely along with few others. There are no arrivals or departures and will be no flight until 6:00 pm Thursday, 2nd December 2010.
Heathrow airport is open with a few cancellations and delays due to disruptions at other airports. Besides this, London Stansted, London Luton airport, London city airport Glasgow Airport Aberdeen Airport, Manchester Airport etc are all open with some of them facing a few problems due to yesterday’s disruptions.
Edinburgh, Doncaster Sheffield Airport (Robin Hood Airport) and Durham Tees Valley Airport are closed due to the snow storm. Authorities at Edinburgh have decided to reopen the airport on December 2nd.
The passengers whose flights are scheduled are advised to check the details from their respective airlines or tour operator before off for the airports.
